Senior Cyber Security Engineer
Job summary
Join us at the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) as a Senior Cyber Security Engineer.
This is an exciting time to work in the Pensions Dashboards Programme (PDP) at MaPS, which has been formed to make pensions dashboards a reality for people in the UK. We’re creating something that will change the pensions landscape and the experiences people have with their pensions.
Pensions dashboards will enable people to access key information about all of their UK pensions, private and State, in one place online, revolutionising how people engage with their pensions throughout their lives. Enabling the delivery of pensions dashboards will require up to 52m adults in the UK to be connected with up to around 43,000 pension providers and schemes to search for their pensions.
The Pensions Dashboards Programme is a fast moving programme and keeping industry and our stakeholders updated on our progress is key.
Over the coming months PDP will be working to support the implementation of pensions dashboards across the industry – both how pension providers and schemes will need to connect to dashboards, and the supporting of dashboard providers.
The role of the Senior Security Engineer will be to support the pre connection process and ongoing monitoring of pensions providers and schemes connecting to the central digital architecture. You will monitor the framework to ensure continuity of service and support research and implementation activity. Using existing and new processes to ensure success, this role will be a proactive one, responsible for generating and underpinning resolution initiatives.
