Strengthen compliance across our infrastructure
As Senior Engineer Compliance and Assurance, you’ll provide technical leadership and oversight for compliance focused engineering activities across infrastructure platforms. This will ensure that all solutions meet regulatory, security and organisational standards.
It’s critical that our infrastructure operations remain compliant and follow best practice. To help us do that, you’ll monitor, interpret and apply emerging compliance requirements. Working closely with Architects, Security Teams, Service Owners, and other staff to ensure that compliance is considered throughout the lifecycle.
We aim to be proactive about solving reoccurring issues. You’ll own and drive their root cause analysis: identifying systematic weaknesses, compliance risks, and operational gaps, ensuring appropriate remediation and preventative controls are implemented. Alongside this, help strengthen our operational resilience by driving continuous improvement initiatives. This will entail introducing improved controls, automation, monitoring and governance practices.
We’d like you to be proactive about maintaining an expert knowledge of infrastructure, cloud technologies, compliance frameworks, and secure operations. Whilst sharing your learnings with the team, so that they can benefit from them too. You will also mentor junior staff members and cover for your seniors in their absence.
Bring practitioner-level engineering expertise to this important role
You bring practitioner‑level experience supporting relevant hardware, software and systems. This is complemented by Agile & ITIL Foundation level. You’ve worked on technologies and/or gained cloud experience within an enterprise or secure environment. Plus, you can create an Excel spreadsheet formula.
We’re looking for somebody who is comfortable managing and leading their team members. This remains true even when pressures run high.
It would be advantageous if you’ve worked in a variety of ITIL4 environments. Ideally, you’ll hold expert‑level Microsoft role‑based certification and relevant product certifications. The following skills and experience are also beneficial: strong numeracy and analytical skills, stakeholder management, and key performance reporting.
