    About the role

    The role involves providing support to children and young people (ages 0-19, and up to 25 for those with SEND) and their families through a comprehensive Family Help programme aimed at improving outcomes for children while reducing the need for statutory services.

    You will be responsible for offering high-quality supervision and line management to a team of Family Hub practitioners working across all age groups. By ensuring and promoting best practices through both physical and virtual family hub services, you will embed and model effective approaches, ensuring that the team is fully supported and that a seamless, integrated family help service is delivered across the family hub network.

    We need a bright and dedicated individual, passionate about working towards making a positive difference for their local community. You don’t need experience across all aspects of the job as that will form part of your development journey, but you will need experience of working in the public sector, delivering core Public Health messages to families with children and young people and being part of a team supporting the delivery of change and transformation.

    You will work closely with a variety of partners including the 0-19 team to ensure children are able, willing and ready to learn. You’ll need to have a solution driven and adaptable approach to working, thrive in a busy environment with a positive approach to challenges!
