Job summary

We are recruiting for the role of Senior Management Assistant to support one of our Assistant Directors

We trust and empower colleagues to work in a hybrid way, providing the resources, equipment, and support, so that individually and collectively, we can be the voice of children and young people when the family court makes critical decisions about their futures. There will be some traveling and office attendance expected.

This role has a flexible base, and your office location will be closer to your home address.

As a Senior Management Assistant, you will provide dedicated administrative support to assigned Assistant Directors in order to contribute to the achievement of local, operational area and national objectives. Some travel will be required in providing dedicated Assistant Director support and may on occasion require an overnight stay.

  • Assist the Assistant Director with keeping to deadlines and following up actions as required, providing effective administration to assist the Assistant Director with the organisation of their Management Team.
  • To act as SharePoint Administrator for area SharePoint folders on behalf of the Assistant Director, including management of folders and uploading of Service Area documents.
  • Maintain and update directories, stakeholder contact lists and other information used by the Assistant Director and seek information as required.
  • To work within the frameworks set out in all relevant Cafcass policies for this role, and to ensure compliance with those at all times.

  • The post holder may be required to travel occasionally to attend meetings, training events or undertake site visits.
