The Role:

• We are seeking a Senior Public Health Practitioner - Wider Determinants to join our dynamic Public Health Team at Liverpool City Council
• If you are passionate about improving health outcomes and have excellent project management skills, then we'd love you to consider being part of our Public Health Team as a Senior Public Health Practitioner
• In Liverpool, for too many of our communities, the wider determinants (or the building blocks that shape our health), such as good employment, a good source of income, and quality housing are missing
• As a Senior Public Health Practitioner with a focus on wider determinants, the post holder will contribute to our ambitious local Marmot City and Health in All Policies programme and work collaboratively with colleagues across the Council and wider partners to develop policies, strategies, and delivery focused on improving the wider determinants of health in Liverpool
• The role of Senior Public Health Practitioner provides an opportunity for people who already have senior experience in wider determinants within local authority public health settings to apply their skills in Liverpool
