HMP Lowdham Grange sits within the Long Tern High Secure Estate; a network of 236 Psychology staff. The Prison is based in Nottinghamshire and holds over 880 men convicted of a range of offences and accommodated across 14 wings and one Care and Separation Unit. The prison is currently going through a period of exciting change and development following its transition to HMPPS. We are looking to expand and develop our Psychology Team to work with us and wider colleagues to establish and embed a range of initiatives; opportunities likely to exist include contributing to overseeing and developing our clinical input into the Care and Separation Unit; supporting and managing our Young Adults; developing clinical input into Safer Custody; and providing clinical supervision to both our Forensic Psychologists in Training and our Facilitator Team in the delivery of high intensity interventions.Person specification

•HCPC registered Forensic Psychologist•Possess a professional background in Psychology

oCompleted relevant training in effective models of treatment and best practise
oThey are likely to also be a Chartered Psychologist and Full member of the appropriate division of the BPS if the post requires it
•The post holder should have two years post registration experience at the point of taking up post.
