Focus is an independent Social Enterprise (Community Interest Company) providing Adult Social Work across North East Lincolnshire. In this role, based in the Social Work Outreach Team, you will hold a varied caseload from a range of different client groups, with a range of differing needs such as learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health and safeguarding. You will carry out assessments under the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005, using creativity to enable individuals to be supporting in their own home or other settings.

This post requires a pro-active, self-motivated individual who is highly organised and confident in your approach when dealing with others. You must be able to demonstrate a level of self-discipline in managing a high workload and be able to prioritise effectively in order to ensure all deadlines are met.

You will need to be able to offer support and advice to other members of the team, supervise staff and be flexible to meet the needs of the service. You would also build a level of emotional resilience in dealing with the challenges that this role inevitably brings.

Focus offers all staff a robust onboarding process along with a variety of continuing professional development opportunities. You will receive individual supervision, mentorship from colleagues along with full support from the wider team.
