Description

Inform strategic decision making with your analytical skills

As a Senior Strategic Analyst for Leicestershire Police, you will be helping to bridge the gap between intelligence assessment, performance information and strategy; leading the delivery of both intelligence and performance based strategic analysis.

Salary: £42,897 - £47,712

What you’ll be doing

• Informing and inputting into the strategic planning cycle, utilising the range of analytical products, techniques and forecasting solutions
• Ensuring the effective creation, coordination and delivery of the force’s Strategic Threat and Risk Assessment
• Supervising and tasking the workload of analysts and researchers across the force

The must haves

• Educated to degree standard in a subject involving research, analysis of data or statistics, or have equivalent work experience
• Experience in the development and application of a wide range of analytical techniques
• Experience of tasking a team of people where the ability to motivate, plan, implement and control tasks has been essential
