    We are looking for acompassionate and enthusiastic Senior Support Worker to join our friendly team at Lord Alexander House, a supported living service in the heart of Hemel Hempstead.

    This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week), where you will be supporting individuals living with mental health needs, to live independently in their own purpose-built flats.

    About you:

    We are looking for someone with experience in the care or support sector, specifically in supporting people living with mental health illnesses.

    You will also need to:

    • Demonstrate a trauma-informed approach in all aspects of service delivery, ensuring sensitivity to the impact of trauma on individuals and promoting safety, empowerment, and collaborative care.
    • Provide operational oversight including rota management, ensuring adequate staffing levels and continuity of care across the scheme.
    • Communicate effectively and adapt to different needs and preferences
    • Possess strong IT skills
    • Work well as part of a team and independently
    • Be committed to equality, diversity, and person-centred care
    • Be flexible and reliable, able to work shifts including weekends and bank holidays (this role also includes one shift per week of completing a sleep in - an allowance for £52.78 per sleep in is paid).

    It is essential that hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have access to a car.
