Lead the digital transformation of children's services in Merton

This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in shaping how technology, data and innovation improve outcomes for children, young people and families. Fixed Term until 31 March 2028

As Senior Systems Development Manager, you will lead the development of digital systems, data platforms and analytical capabilities across Children, Lifelong Learning and Families (CLLF), helping to drive some of the most significant reforms currently underway in Children’s Services.

You will be at the heart of CLLF's transformation journey, supporting delivery of the Families First Partnership Programme (FFPP), SEND reforms, digital modernisation and the adoption of new technologies including automation, AI and advanced analytics

Leading a multidisciplinary team of Systems Developers and Senior Analysts, you will work closely with service leaders, practitioners and partners to ensure technology and data support better practice, stronger decision-making and improved outcomes for residents.
