Bring complex infrastructure designs to life
Being a Senior Technical Architect – Infrastructure means you’ll be designing and delivering secure infrastructure solutions across evolving environments. Working across platforms, storage, end user computing and core services, you’ll translate architectural direction into practical designs that guide build and implementation. You’ll also apply agreed standards and produce high-quality designs, contribute to roadmaps and reference architectures that support long-term development.
Your role will have you lead delivery, acting as technical assurance across projects and supporting engineers and product teams through implementation. By producing clear architecture artefacts, mentoring others in the infrastructure domain, and providing trustworthy advice that helps identify risks to stakeholders, you’ll play a proud part in shaping resilient infrastructure solutions that protect the nation’s interests. You’ll also foster collaboration, continuous improvement and a focus on practical outcomes so that the infrastructure platforms remain resilient, secure and ready to adapt as needs evolve.
Deliver your architectural expertise with confidence
You bring strong experience in infrastructure architecture, backed by either a relevant degree or equivalent hands-on experience and recognised certifications. You’re comfortable turning complex business and security requirements into scalable designs that work in practice, with experience across VMwareand on premise platforms. And your ability to produce high-quality designs and assure complex solutions gives you a solid grounding in modern infrastructure practices.
You enjoy working closely with engineers, architects and stakeholders to shape robust solutions, whether that’s leading teams through delivery challenges, offering guidance or contributing to governance conversations. And while you’re helping others develop and grow, you’re always learning too – continuing to build your own expertise along the way.
Discover the support you need to grow your career
Working with us, you’ll help keep people, information, and assets safe around the world. It’s a role you can feel proud of, and we aim to make every part of your career just as rewarding.
