We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, self-motivated Human Resources professional who will be responsible for providing generalist HR support (including casework) and advice to teams across both councils, specialising in Employee Relations.
Responsibilities include:
- Working with both councils to develop and improve the deployment and management of our valuable human resource teams
- Providing effective day to day advice and support to managers and employees on terms and conditions of employment and the application of HR policies and procedures.
- Line managing HR Business Partners and assisting with HR cases where relevant
- Provide on-site HR support across both organisations
- Participation in a range of employee meetings, including grievance/disciplinary investigations and hearings, sickness meetings, employee relations and management meetings etc.
- Writing reports, policies etc.

As such you will split your time between Broxbourne’s Office at Bishops’ College, Churchgate, Cheshunt and East Herts’ Offices at Wallfields, Pegs Lane Hertford.
