SITE MAINTENANCE OFFICER – AAAD5005 PERMANENT – 15 hrs per week 38 weeks p/a
We are seeking to appoint a Site Maintenance Officer to join our hardworking and committed team. The candidate should possess good communication and organisational ability and a range of practical skills. This post is permanent for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will need a range of skills to ensure the efficient maintenance of our modern (2018) building and its grounds. The role will include maintaining health and safety standards, carrying out minor repairs, some cleaning duties (including maintenance of the roof drainage system – access is via fixed internal ladders), general maintenance (to include basic plumbing, joinery and electrics), decorating, liaising with contractors, ordering supplies and opening the school premises. Supervision of vehicles to ensure safe, approved access when pupils are dropped off in the morning is also part of the role.
Working hours are 15 hours per week from 7:30am until 10:30am, with the possibility of regular paid additional hours. Although this is a term time only position (38 weeks per annum), there is the possibility of paid additional hours during school holidays as and when needed. This is a key-holder position and therefore there is a requirement to attend any alarm call out or emergency.
