The Person

Lyon Park Primary School is seeking an energetic Site Manager to start as soon as possible. You will oversee the management and operation of our premises, including buildings and grounds maintenance, security, cleaning, and facility lettings. This is an operational, hands-on role that includes day-to-day caretaker duties. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a solid working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations to ensure statutory premises checks and accurate record-keeping.

The successful candidate will need to:

  • Have an experienced trade in one or more of the disciplines of:
    • Electrical
    • Plumbing
    • Carpentry
    • Construction
  • Have a good standard of DIY skills to undertake general maintenance and repairs.
  • Experience of understanding of site issues.
  • Be resilient, flexible and demonstrate an ability to work in a school environment

Salary range

  • £38,510 - £40,444 per year
