Our thriving, diverse primary school is looking for a friendly, dedicated and experienced Site Manager to join our team.

The Role: Site Manager
As the Site Manager, you will be crucial to the smooth and safe running of our school premises. You will take pride in ensuring our buildings and grounds are well-maintained, secure, and compliant with all health and safety regulations, creating a welcoming space for students, staff, and visitors.
Hours: Full-time, 36 hours per week, 52 weeks a year. This is over split shift of 7am-10.30am and 2.30pm-6pm (5:45pm Friday) Salary: Band E Contract: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Repair: Carry out minor repairs and maintenance tasks (e.g., plumbing, carpentry, decorating) and liaise with external contractors for major works.
Health & Safety: Ensure the school site is compliant with all H&S legislation, including fire safety, legionella checks, and risk assessments and statutory compliance using appropriate software.
Security: Be responsible for the security of the premises, including locking/unlocking the site and managing alarm systems.
Grounds Maintenance: Oversee the upkeep of the school grounds, playgrounds, and external areas (e.g., litter picking, minor gardening, gritting paths in winter).
Team Management: Line-manage a small cleaning and/or caretaking team.
Facilities Management: Manage stock control for maintenance supplies and cleaning materials, ensuring value for money.
