We are recruiting for a Senior Practitioner Social Worker to join our Initial Assessment Team in Adult Social Care.

If you are passionate about supporting adults to meet their desired outcomes and are committed to providing an efficient and effective service, with at least two years of management experience, we would love to hear from you.

In this role, you will:

  • provide supervision to 6-8 staff members, social workers, occupational therapists and first response officers

  • cover aspects of duty for the team, assign cases and prioritise case allocations

  • support the team manager to deliver a proficient service to the residents of tower hamlets.

  • liaising with other teams

About You

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • registration with Social Work England

  • Qualified Social Work background

  • Managerial experience

  • Strong communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse community.
