Permanent Full Time Social Worker - Bolsover North P&P Team 🌟
There is an opportunity for a qualified Social Worker to join the Bolsover North Adult Social Work team.
We work with adults who have care and support needs (and people approaching adulthood) living in the community and in care placements to complete person-centred assessments.
An understanding of Strength Based Models of practice and Care Act 2014 principles is necessary. We are looking for a Social Worker with significant post qualifying experience in managing complex case work along with having working knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and COP DoLS. Knowledge of Supported Living is also beneficial.
The role includes visiting people at home, or in homely settings communicating with them and their carers to gather information to help positively influence their wellbeing and to maximise opportunities to promote choice and control. We undertake personalised safeguarding enquiries where strong communication and organisational skills will be required. We work alongside other organisations and professionals and staff within the team are linked to GP surgeries to promote effective multi-disciplinary practice.
There is opportunity for home and office working. Support is provided through a Microsoft Teams chat facility with the team, a daily Teams catch-up with team members and Senior Practitioner and/or Service Manager, monthly one to one supervision, and a monthly team meeting. We operate a ‘champion’ role, offering the opportunity to develop practice interests and share knowledge within the team.

Salary range
- £32,347 - £43,270 per year
