We are looking to recruit a part time fixed term qualified Social Worker to join the Short - Term Assessment and Reablement Team , to work across South Derbyshire.

We welcome applicants with a Social Work qualification and with experience of working in an Adult Social Work team setting. To be able to demonstrate an ability to work with a person centred and strength based approach to achieve the ideal outcomes with people to live as independently as possible within their own homes and communities is essential. Experience of a collaborative approach to multidisciplinary working is required to support people to return home or remain in their own homes following a period of ill health or change in needs.

The candidate will need to have a knowledge of current legislation, policy and procedures that underpin good practice, and an understanding and experience of Safeguarding principles will be essential.

The job may require unsocial hours working including weekends and Bank Holidays. Payment arrangements will be detailed in any contract offer made.

Saturday and Sunday hours will be paid at plain time where it is part of your normal working pattern unless it is between 7pm and 7am, where enhanced rates of pay apply. Enhanced pay rates are paid for Bank Holiday working.
