Market Supplement of £2000 per annum

£3,000 Golden Hello after a 6 month sucessful probation period

As a Sefton Children’s Social Care employee, you will receive:

We currently have both full time and a part time opportunities within the Kinship/SGO assessment team within the fostering service. The team undertakes viability assessments, Regulation 24 assessments, full fostering assessments of family and friends and SGO assessments. A significant proportion of our work is court ordered assessments.

Previous experience in a fostering environment is desirable but not essential as your attitude, motivation, and transferable skills is what interests us. You do, however, need to have experience of undertaking child and family assessments, children’s safeguarding, meeting assessments deadlines.

Please note that in order to apply for this post you must be qualified and registered as a Social Worker with SWE and have post qualifying experience in safeguarding children.
