Join East Midlands Legal Services as a Solicitor on a part-time basis representing five regional police forces in a fast-paced, dedicated legal team. You’ll provide expert legal advice and manage a diverse caseload that makes a real impact on policing.

We offer full support and training, helping you to achieve your potential and develop your skills in an exciting and diverse area of work.

The role is based at Alfreton but is an agile position with minimal office working.

You’ll be

  • Managing a caseload in line with the case management system procedures.
  • Supporting colleagues and promoting excellence as part of an expert team.
  • Maintaining and developing skills in a unique area of law.

You must have

  • Recent civil litigation experience.
  • Skilled handling legal work and managing a case load.
  • Ability to influence others with effective negotiation skills.
