Description

Champion justice and safeguard communities across the region.

Join East Midlands Police Legal Services (EMPLS) as a Solicitor on representing five regional police forces in a fast-paced, dedicated legal team. You’ll provide expert legal advice and manage a diverse caseload and collaborate with various clients and stakeholders.

We offer full support and training, helping you to achieve your potential and develop your skills in an exciting and diverse area of work.

The role is based at Alfreton but is an agile position with minimal office working.

You’ll be

• Carrying a case load and offering advice and advocacy.
• Providing legal advice to the EMPLS collaboration.
• Managing a case load in compliance with case management protocols.

You must have

• A professional qualification as a Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive.
• Proven record managing a legal case load.
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
