    Starting Well Receptionist

    Grade 3- £29436-£31158pa (3x Full Time and 1 x Part Time.)

    About the Role

    We have multiple vacancies for Starting Well Receptionists to join our team, providing a reliable, high-quality front-of-house and administrative service across our centres. This is an exciting opportunity to support families and children by ensuring our centres run smoothly and efficiently.

    Locations & Working Hours

    • MyPlace Centre:
      • Shift work between 8:30am – 10:00pm (on a rota basis).
    • Children’s Centres:
      • Core hours 8:45am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
      • Flexibility is essential as you may be required to travel across multiple locations within the borough.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide reception and administrative support across operational centres.
    • Respond to customer queries in person, by phone, and via email.
    • Maintain accurate records and operate booking/till systems.
    • Support building operations, including reporting repairs and health & safety checks.
    • Assist with diary management and bookings for centre activities.
    • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, confidentiality, GDPR, and health & safety standards.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Strong communication skills and a professional, welcoming approach.
    • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new systems.
    • Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
    • Flexible and adaptable to work across different sites and outside normal office hours when required.
