Job summary
We have a great opportunity for a Strategic Planning and Partnering Support Officer to join the Strategic Planning & Partnering team. This team is responsible for understanding future demand pressures on HM Land Registry (HMLR) and creating and maintaining mixed models of delivery to meet the needs of the business.
The successful candidate will support the team to ensure the pipeline of work is up to date, help build successful partnerships with our Delivery Partners to support us in delivering our Business Strategy, and this post plays a pivotal role in delivering commercial and technical outcomes for the Business.

Job description
In this varied role you will need stakeholder management, organisational skills, and the ability to work at pace on several different activities. The role of Strategic Planning and Partnering Support Officer includes essential administrative, coordination, and basic financial administration. You will have responsibility for enabling the administrative systems of the team and ensuring an exceptional standard of service is maintained.
The role will lead collaboration with delivery to support the coordination of monthly information, required by the business. The job holder will work closely with the wider T&T Strategic Hub team and others in the wider directorate and beyond where relevant.
In this role there will be learning and development opportunities and you will get to establish and grow relationships with key parts of the business.
Person specification
To be successful in this role you will have experience in:
- Proven track record of collaborative working
- Proven track record of strong communication skills to a variety of colleagues, including Senior Leaders.
- Remain calm under pressure and handle multiple and competing priorities, supporting others where necessary.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) For example, you can;
- Word: edit text documents
- Excel: interpret and edit data in
- workbooks
- PowerPoint: create presentations
- Practical knowledge and experience of making the best use of information from a range of different sources.
- Self-motivated and able to self-direct, with appropriate support.
- Able to understand how their work fits in to wider objectives and priorities, while also having a good eye for detail.
- Proven track record of making effective decisions on the efficiency of processes.

Interview
If successful at shortlisting stage, you will be invited to attend a virtual, blended interview. The blended interview will test the Behaviours listed in the ‘Person Specification’ as well as the strengths associated with the role, details will be provided on invitation to interview.
