<h4>Support Worker</h4><dl><dt>Job description</dt>Rate of Pay: £13.50 - £22 per hour (depending on employment status and experience)(Please note this is an external vacancy and is not employment with East Riding of Yorkshire Council) Support worker required for a 21 year old man with learning disabilities. He enjoys various activities including swimming, going to the gym and cinema but generally loves trying new things. Duties to include supporting him in the community and accompanying him to activities as he can get a little overwhelmed with large crowds. Support to develop independence is also required. We are seeking applicants who are approachable, have a positive attitude, patient and caring. The candidate must be able to use their own initiative whilst also ensuring that an environment for maximizing independence and safety is maintained. DBS/Reference checks will be required for this post – Cost to be met by the local authority. </dl>
