Teaching Assistant / Midday Supervisor / Learning Support Assistant

32.5 hours per week supporting in Years 5 and 6

We have a brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our caring and committed team of Teaching Assistants at All Saints, Carshalton.

We require an experienced, dedicated teaching assistant and Learning Support Assistant. This role will be supporting children across Years 5 and Year 6. The role will involve establishing a nurturing relationship with the pupils in order to support them with building self-esteem, independence and confidence. You will need to demonstrate competence in supporting students within a learning environment to encourage them to achieve and make good progress.

We are a friendly, popular and over-subscribed school graded ‘Good’ at our last Ofsted Inspection in October 2024 and ‘Excellent’ in our last SIAMs Inspection in September 2019. We joined the Southwark Diocese Board of Education Multi Academy Trust in September 2017 and work closely in a strong team. We have very close links with All Saints Parish church and the local community. Our school is in a wonderful location, close to parks and the beautiful Carshalton ponds.

Hours of work: 32.5 hours per week (8:30 – 15:30, including midday role)

Term time plus 1 week (39 weeks per year)
