About the role

Queen Elizabeth's School is looking for a Teacher of Drama (Maternity Cover) to join our fantastic team.

Actual Salary £32,916 - £45,352 per annum (M1 to M6)

This job is Full Time (Part time will be considered).

It is offered on a Temporary 12 months fixed term maternity cover basis.

Approximate start date 1st Jan 2027.

This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic professional to join our upper school. We have rapidly improved in the last two years and want inquisitive, positive, dynamic and resilient colleagues to join our excellent performing arts department.

Our thriving department is currently recruiting for a full time Teacher of Drama. The department is very well-resourced and there will be the opportunity to teach across all Key Stages.

Ideally, we would like to appoint someone who has:

• An awareness of Rosenshine’s principles of instruction

• An awareness of some of the concepts explored in Tom Sherrington’s ‘Walkthru’ series or Doug Lemov’s ‘Teach Like a Champion’ series.

• Experience in teaching another subject within performing arts: Music, Dance or Media studies
