
Teaching and Learning Assistant (with PE Support)
Aston-on-Trent Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant & PE Support to join our friendly and supportive team.

We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant & PE Support who can inspire children through both high-quality physical activity and classroom support, enabling every pupil to achieve their personal best.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience of working with children across a school setting.
- Have a passion for sport and physical activity and the ability to deliver engaging PE sessions.
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Support learning through classroom activities, interventions and small-group work.
- Plan and deliver engaging sports clubs, activities and competitions.
- Support children’s physical, social and emotional wellbeing.
- Have high expectations of achievement, behaviour and inclusion.
- Be creative, enthusiastic and able to use their initiative.
- Be committed to promoting and upholding the school’s values and ethos.
- Be passionate about supporting all children, including those with additional needs.
- Be motivated to achieve the very best for the children in our care and make a genuine difference.

Salary range
- £22,990.56 - £24,665.88 per year
