The Governing Body and Headteacher of The Priory Parish CE Primary School are seeking a caring, committed, and enthusiastic professional to join our valued team, supporting children on a 1:1 basis and delivering targeted interventions.
We are looking for someone who shares our belief that every child has a God-given potential and deserves the opportunity to flourish academically, socially, and spiritually. As part of our Christian family, you will help nurture our learners, supporting them to overcome challenges, develop their strengths, and realise their God-given ability to change the world.
This role is especially suited to someone with experience of, or a strong interest in, supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You will provide focused 1:1 support and deliver interventions designed to help each child feel included, confident, and able to achieve their full potential.
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience supporting high-quality teaching and learning.
Has experience of supporting children with SEND needs, adapting learning and interventions to ensure inclusion and progress for all.
Understands child development and the National Curriculum.
Demonstrates sensitivity, patience, and understanding when supporting individual learners.
Builds warm, trusting relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.
Uses positive behaviour management rooted in empathy and encouragement.
Has experience supporting early reading, phonics, or other targeted interventions.
Works collaboratively as part of a dedicated and compassionate team.
Shows initiative, flexibility, and a reflective approach to their work.
In return, we offer:
Enthusiastic, curious children who are eager to learn and grow.
A nurturing, faith-filled community where every individual is valued and supported.
A dedicated and supportive staff team and governing body who work together as one family.
Ongoing professional development, including SEND and safeguarding training.
A beautiful and well-resourced learning environment that encourages creativity and joy.
At The Priory Parish CE Primary School, our vision guides all we do:
As a Christian family, together, we will realise our God-given ability to change the world.
Joining us means becoming part of a community that values compassion, inclusion, and hope where every act of support and encouragement can make a lasting difference in a child’s life.
We warmly invite you to visit our school and experience our community in action.
