Grade 6 Teaching Assistant with class cover

Actual Salary: £21,239.24 - £23,408.29 (FTE – 28,141.25) Grade 6 SCP 11

32.5 hours per week (term time)

Start date: as soon as possible- Permanent post

We are looking for an experienced practitioner to work as a room lead within our Resource Provision for children aged from Reception to Year 6 with SEMH needs. The successful candidate would be expected to help develop and lead one of the rooms with the support of a qualified teacher and SENDCo

They will be expected to prepare some learning materials based on the National Curriculum, under the guidance of e the provision teacher and to provide bespoke experiences according to the student's needs. They will also be responsible for the children’s physical, social and emotional welfare.

Applications are welcomed and encouraged from experienced practitioners, who wish to develop and enhance the daily experiences and learning of our SEND pupils.

Experience of working with children who have additional needs, SEMH needs or social communication difficulties are essential for the role.
