This is an exciting opportunity to join Kingsleigh Primary School as a SEN Teaching Assistant, supporting some of our most vulnerable children within The DEN.
The DEN is our specialist in-house provision for children with complex special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) who require a highly personalised approach to learning. It provides a nurturing and supportive environment, with predictable routines, small-group teaching and tailored interventions designed to develop communication, independence and emotional regulation.
As part of our ongoing commitment to inclusive education, we will also be establishing a dedicated resource base for children with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. The successful candidate will initially work within The DEN before transitioning into the new resource base. This presents a unique opportunity to play a key role in the development of the provision, helping to shape its environment, routines and support strategies from the outset, ensuring the best possible outcomes for the children it serves.
