    3 x TA Level 2 fixed-term positions supporting children with an EHCP and complex SEN needs. One EYFS and two in our Mainstream Y1-6.

    30 hours per week plus SEN Allowance

    (SEN of £1,539 pro rata per annum)

    1 x TA Level 2 Permanent Class Teaching Assistant working within our Designated Special Provision

    32.5 hours per week plus SEN Allowance

    (SEN of £1,539 pro rata per annum)

    We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic and skilful Teaching Assistants for Northwood Community Primary School, to support progress and learning for children with complex SEND needs and/or EHCP outcomes. Northwood Community Primary School is a great place to work and the role will include working with children to support them in the following ways:

    • To support cognition and learning and all learning needs across the four areas of SEND
    • To support sensory regulation and behaviour
    • To be aware of EHCP outcomes/targets for the children they are supporting
    • To support our wider school by participating in an after school club
    • To interact with parents/carers appropriately under the direction of the class teacher/phase lead
    • To undertake relevant training and CPD
    • To contribute to any other appropriate aspect of school life, under the direction of the Headteacher

    • NQT Level 2 or above for Teaching Assistants or experience.
