Team Administrator

Are you a highly organised administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment? As a Team Administrator within our New Homes team, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality aftercare and defect resolution services for our residents.

Working closely with colleagues across Customer Care, Defect Resolution, Delivery and Asset Management, you’ll help ensure customer enquiries are handled efficiently, records are accurate, and processes run smoothly. This is a great opportunity to make a visible impact while developing your skills in a collaborative and supportive team.

This is a 6 month fixed term contract.

What you’ll do

  • Act as a first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone, email and in person, ensuring timely and helpful responses
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to Service Heads and Managers, including diary management, meeting coordination and minute taking
  • Log, track and update defects and repair enquiries, liaising with contractors and internal teams
  • Raise purchase orders and process invoices accurately to support budget management
  • Maintain accurate records across systems and CRM, ensuring data quality and compliance
  • Support the coordination of meetings, events and resident engagement activities
  • Work collaboratively across teams to reduce administrative burden and improve efficiency

What you’ll need

  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in a customer-facing or administrative support role
  • Experience of maintaining and updating case management systems, workflow trackers and/or performance reporting information
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams (or equivalent systems)
  • Experience processing invoices or working with financial systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

  • Experience within housing, property, construction or repairs/defects environments
  • Experience of working with housing or customer service systems, including producing basic reports or management information
  • Familiarity with systems such as IPOS or similar
