Job description

About the role:

The administrative resource unit (ARU) is a large team of professional administrators who work collaboratively to provide a range of admin support across the organisation.

The aim of the role Team Administrator is to provide support to teams, primarily in a specific Directorate, and work flexibly across the organisation in line with business needs. Key responsibilities include: managing enquiries (internal and external) to ensure information reaches the right people to respond; providing team support by arranging team meetings and taking notes when required; following processes and procedures; arranging travel; budget administration. The role requires engagement with stakeholders to ensure that the relevant team receives appropriate administrative support.

Person specification

About you:

  • You will be proactive with excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Experience of Microsoft Office programs, Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams are essential. Experience of using multiple inboxes and calendars and note and minute taking, is preferrable.
  • You will aim to provide a quality service.
  • You will be confident in making effective decisions and working at pace.
  • You will be able to work collaboratively and inclusively.
