RVDescription
Drive high-impact, multi-agency investigations to keep children safe
We’re seeking a highly motivated and skilled Team Leader to join our Safeguarding Hub.
You’ll be leading multi-disciplinary strategy discussions that protect children, ensuring that safeguarding referrals and police investigations are managed with professionalism and compassion.
As our Team Leader, you will be responsible for the assessment and investigative decision making linked to referrals from children’s services, health services, schools, and police incidents. Your leadership will ensure investigations are delivered effectively, using evidence informed practice and robust multi-agency collaboration.
You will represent the police at meetings, making decisions using the National Decision Model, gathering, and interpreting information and intelligence to inform safeguarding responses and investigative direction. You need to have the ability to work well under pressure and make fast-paced decisions. You will also work closely with colleagues on child and adult safeguarding practices, working with them to drive excellence within our safeguarding hub.
This is a rewarding opportunity to develop the future of multi-agency working under the Families First Partnership Programme, exploring co-location with health, education and local authority services, influencing safeguarding outcomes, and making a meaningful impact on the protection of children. You will be expected to drive excellence as part of the co-working, and be proactive in your approach to safeguarding.
This role is offered as a 12 month fixed term contract.
