Southfields Care Home, rated Good by the CQC, provides exceptional support for older people living with dementia, physical disabilities and sensory impairments.

Located in a peaceful residential area of Northampton, Southfields offers a warm and welcoming home where residents are supported to live fulfilling and meaningful lives. With experience supporting older people in a residential care setting, you'll be confident leading care teams, managing priorities and building positive relationships with residents, families and professionals. You'll have a good understanding of the Care Act, National Care Standards and relevant care legislation, alongside experience in care planning, record keeping and performance monitoring.

Ideally, you'll hold a Level 3 or Level 4 qualification in Health and Social Care, or be willing to work towards a Level 4 qualification. Flexibility is important, as the role will include weekend and bank holiday working when required.

Experience as a Team Leader, Senior Carer or in a similar supervisory role, particularly within dementia care, would be advantageous. A management qualification, experience supporting staff through supervision and appraisals, and a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle would also be beneficial.

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and is therefore subject to an Enhanced DBS check. It is also a regulated activity and will be subject to both Adults' and Children's Barred List checks.
