Team Manager - Coroner's Office
About the Team
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Coroner’s Officer to lead our highly regarded Coroner’s Office, based in the picturesque town of Leamington Spa. The team supports the Senior, Area and Assistant Coroners in Warwickshire in relation to all aspects of Coronial investigations and inquests, including liaising with bereaved families, external agencies and partners.
About the Role
The Team Manager is responsible for the daily co-ordination of the team’s workload, with technical supervision as required. They are also the line manager with responsibility for team performance and development.
The role would suit Coroner’s Officers who already have management/supervisory responsibilities, or those who are looking to take their first step into management.
The role is advertised as a full-time position. The team operates on a hybrid basis, with some office attendance being essential.
Key Requirements
- Significant experience as a Coroner’s Officer
- Working knowledge of the law and practice relating to Coronial functions
- Good IT skills including use of Microsoft packages and case management systems such as Civica
- Ability to motivate, develop and manage team members.
