An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Fostering Service, in Birmingham Children’s Trust.
We are looking for a Team Manager overseeing Marketing, Recruitment and assessments ‘to join one of our Fostering Support Teams. We are a dynamic and supportive service with an OFSTED ‘GOOD’ rating and we want you be part of our transformation journey to becoming an outstanding Fostering service.
Our main aim is to provide safe, high quality foster care homes for our children and young people that value, support and encourage them to grow and reach their potential as they transition into adulthood.
You will lead a diverse team of Supervising Social Workers and senior practitioners in analysing data performance across marketing, recruitment and assessments which will offer creative and engaging ways of recruiting and working with established carers.
About you…….
You will have a forward thinking, dynamic approach in your leadership and management of the team and wider service.
You will have significant experience of fostering, safeguarding and children in care work and the legislative and regulatory framework in which we operate.
You will create an environment that enables people and resources to work to their full potential through the implementation of performance management and quality assurance.
You will facilitate, manage and implement change to improve and develop services.
You will promote and maintain an environment that encourages diversity in all aspects of service delivery.
You will need to be SWE registered and hold a relevant Social Work qualification.
