Pay - £59,511 to £63,966 per annum subject to final confirmation with an additional Market Supplement of £4,000
The London Borough of Havering is looking to recruit a Team Manager (MASH) to manage the operational day to day service delivery of the MASH to ensure that the service provided is to the highest professional standards and is responsive to agreed thresholds and legislative requirements specific to the MASH (Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub).
If successful in your application for the role of Team Manager (MASH), London Borough of Havering, you will/will be:
- Manage and oversee staff to ensure effective delivery of services to children, young people, and their families through high quality social work in line with standards of good practice, legislation, and guidance.
- Lead and monitor staff in ensuring robust recording of information on relevant systems and databases in line with standards set.
- Ensure that managerial decisions are recorded in a timely manner within agreed timescales and that there is consistency in appropriate threshold application.
- To cover for the Family Intervention Team Manager as and when required.
- Responsible for managing sickness absence in line with HR processes and ensuring service needs are met.
- Ensuring accurate recording of decisions whilst capturing and evidencing the voice of the child
- Support the Service Manager and Head of Service where required in planning and developing services for vulnerable children, young people, and their families, identifying needs and potential difficulties/challenges, escalating issues as appropriate.
- To work effectively with the safeguarding partnership to support identification of partnership training needs e.g. improving quality of referrals and consistent application of thresholds.
