
Technical Services Coordinator (Facilities)
Technical Services Coordinator – Keep Our Spaces Safe, Smart and Spotless
Are you a hands-on problem solver who loves keeping things running smoothly? As a Technical Services Coordinator at Peabody, you’ll be part of a busy Facilities team, helping to maintain the look, feel, and safety of our corporate estate.
From minor repairs and compliance checks to supporting moves and setting up rooms, you’ll be the go-to person for keeping our buildings in top shape. If you’re practical, proactive, and ready to make a visible impact, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Carry out minor repairs and maintenance across our buildings
- Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks including PAT testing and water checks
- Conduct regular building inspections to ensure compliance and presentation standards
- Support landscaping and decoration to keep properties looking great
- Respond to helpdesk requests and meet service level agreements
- Assist with fire marshal duties, first aid, and out-of-hours site support
- Help with moves, portering, and room setups
- Escalate out-of-scope works and contribute ideas for service improvements
What You’ll Need
- A full UK driving licence (you’ll be driving a company van)
- Solid understanding of basic maintenance and fabric repairs
- Experience in a facilities or property support role
- Strong customer service skills and a proactive attitude
- Good knowledge of health and safety regulations (fire, legionella, asbestos, etc.)
- Ability to use Microsoft Office and maintain accurate records
- IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent – desirable
- Legionella Awareness or other statutory compliance training – desirable

This role requires a Basic DBS check and a full UK driving licence. You’ll be expected to travel across sites and work flexibly, including out-of-hours support on a rota basis.
