Deliver high‑quality case files that support effective justice.
As our Traffic Process Officer, you’ll prepare high-quality case files for submission to external law enforcement agencies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legislation and policies. You’ll keep systems update and complete case files efficiently to support successful prosecutions.
You’ll also act as a subject matter expert, managing enquiries from colleagues and partner agencies. With strong organisational skills, you’ll ensure fixed penalty and traffic cases are processed promptly and in line with statutory time limits and summary justice requirements.
You’ll be
- Producing traffic case files with evidence where offenders have failed to comply with the Road Traffic Act.
- Negotiating and influencing defendants and partner agencies regarding compliance with Conditional Offers of Fixed Penalty.
- Updating force systems with target dates, action plans and other requirements set out by stakeholders.
You must have
- Experience using computerised system to interrogate and maintain data.
- Excellent communication skills including presenting ideas and information both written and verbally.
- Ability to check information for content and accuracy.
