
Trainee Leisure & Recreation Officer (Apprentice)
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in leisure contract management, community projects, and recreation services, while working towards a Level 3 Community Support and Health Officer Apprenticeship.
You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality leisure services that encourage an active, healthy, and sustainable community. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the team to include data collection, benchmarking as well as:
Attending contract and stakeholder meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and tracking actions.
Supporting the delivery of sport, leisure, and community projects, including project planning, risk assessments, and reporting.
Assisting with developing activation, marketing, and communication plans, and maintaining grant funding databases.
Help to promote leisure and community sports programmes in partnership with local clubs, groups, and agencies.
Contributing to the organisation of events and public consultations, including administration, marketing materials, and on-the-day support.
It is essential that you are committed to personal development as you will study for the Level 3 Community Support and Health Officer Apprenticeship where full support will be provided to help you succeed in your training and development. There is a requirement that you will work evenings and weekends when required.
