The Role
- We are looking for dynamic and energetic individuals with the ability to cope with significant client demand; who possess excellent communication skills, who can engage effectively with clients and help us deliver an excellent legal service.
- You will draft legal documents, undertake casework and provide representation as required. Whilst you may be based at Newham Dockside, you will work across both authorities, with travel to Havering and other offices as required.
- This is a challenging and rewarding role where you’ll gain exposure to diverse legal matters and make a real impact.
About You
- We’re looking for candidates who are:
- · Dynamic and resilient, able to manage competing priorities under pressure.
- · Excellent communicators, confident in engaging with clients and stakeholders.
- · Analytical problem-solvers, with strong legal research skills and attention to detail.
- You should have:
- o A sound academic background and have completed (or be close to completing) the Legal Practice Course (LPC).
- o A good understanding of local government and its legal, financial, and political context.
- o A commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
