Training Coordinator

About this job

The post is to coordinate the delivery of training to the Early Years and Childcare workforce including staff working in nursery classes in schools. The postholder will work in partnership with early years providers to ensure the effective delivery of the training offer to staff The role will also require collaborative working across the Early Years service to fulfill statutory duties, particularly with the Early Years SEND team, including supporting the coordination of information needed to submit requests for the Education, Health and Care assessments The role will also involve supporting the administration of the Nursery Additional Resources Provision Panel.

You must be passionate and committed to providing the highest levels of service. Working in a busy environment, you will face a variety of competing priorities that will require a flexible approach combined with excellent interpersonal, communication and organisation skills. Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and attention to detail are necessary skills for this post. The successful candidate will have an understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and the new childcare entitlements.
