Are you ready to step into the covert world of policing and take the fight to organised crime? Derbyshire Constabulary’sForce Surveillance Team (FST) is seeking skilled transferee officers to join our specialist unit.

The Force Surveillance Team (FST) is a specialist Level 2 resource dedicated to investigating, disrupting and dismantling Organised Crime Groups (OCGs) across Derbyshire and beyond.

With covert capabilities including static, foot and mobile technical surveillance, the FST targets criminality that evades traditional methods. You’ll be part of a team that delivers tactical advice, supports covert operations and collaborates with national units and the East Midlands Special Operations Serious and Organised Crime teams (EMSOU SOC).

What you'll be doing:

• You will undertake the day-to-day management of OCG's.
• You will conduct and manage complex investigations and manage risk and threat.
• You will work in a covert environment with the highest levels of integrity and confidentiality.

The must haves:

• You must be confirmed in the rank of Constable
• Be a member of a Home Office force or Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) or Police Scotland (please note we cannot accept an application to transfer from an officer serving with a non-Home Office police force).
• Have no outstanding discipline or integrity issues.
• Have a full manual driving licence
• You must hold a current Q1 Surveillance qualification or equivalent (Level 1 / mobile)
• You must hold an accredited surveillance log keeper qualification and have experience of performing that function.

For part time hours the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, this is based on the number of hours for the vacancy.
