As Treasury Analyst, you’ll play a vital role in delivering day-to-day Treasury services that underpin L&Q’s financial strength and ability to provide homes and communities people can be proud of.

Our ability to invest in affordable housing depends on reliable and repeatable Treasury services. This role ensures ongoing liquidity, covenant compliance, strong risk management and supports Treasury projects that strengthen L&Q’s financial resilience.
Where you fit in
You’ll report to the Assistant Treasury Manager and work in a matrix reporting structure with the Treasury team, collaborating across Finance and with internal and external stakeholders to deliver L&Q’s strategic objectives.

Your impact in the role:
Main Duties
· Maintain a rolling cashflow forecast and optimise Group cash balances.
· Complete loan drawdowns, repayments, and MMF placements/redemptions.
· Ensure capital and interest payments are made within deadlines.
· Manage valuations and disposals of charged properties in line with covenants.
· Provide analysis and commentary for management and statutory reporting.
· Maintain a robust control framework, accurate records and ensure audit-ready systems.
Key relationships:
· Internal: Finance and wider Group stakeholders.
· External: Clearing banks, lenders, valuers, security trustees, and other professional advisors
What you'll bring:
Essential:
· Practical experience working within a busy Treasury or Finance team.
· Strong numerical and analytical skills with commercial acumen.
· Excellent communication and influencing skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.
· Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Treasury and Finance systems.
Desirable:
· Studying towards AMCT or equivalent.
· Experience in a property business or housing association environment.
· Familiarity with Salmon and Unit4 systems.
