Vetting is a process which enables employers to identify, manage, and mitigate risks in roles with national security concerns, such as positions involving high-risk sites or classified information. It establishes trust through confidential discussions and initiates a continuous dialogue on risk management for the duration of a person's security clearance.
During vetting, individuals may be asked to provide information about their background, family, employment history, and residences. We may also inquire about any criminal convictions, and for higher clearance levels, we'll require details about financial situations and life experiences to aid in the decision making process.
