Becoming a governor is an exciting, and fulfilling, opportunity to help drive forward school improvement by making a significant contribution to a school governing body. üOversee the financial performance of the school and making sure its money is well spent.

To be a governor you will need to be passionate about improving education for all children as well as being a team player - someone who is well organised, good at listening and possesses good oral skills. You must be willing to give your time and share your skills and knowledge to drive forward positive outcomes for all children.
