We have an opportunity for a Waking Night Project Worker at Litslade Farm, our registered care home in Newton Longville. We empower adults with learning disabilities to live as independently as possible, and we are looking for someone who can provide calm, reliable support throughout the night.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Waking Night Project Worker, you will:
- Support vulnerable adults during night hours, ensuring their safety and wellbeing
- Communicate effectively using methods tailored to individual needs
- Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care
- Promote independence and respect the wishes of the people we support
- Maintain accurate records and report any concerns promptly
- Respond to and document any crisis events that may occur during the night
- Administer medication if required and complete household tasks
- Provide personal care when needed, ensuring respect, dignity and safety are upheld
- Offer emotional support as required

About You
We are looking for someone who is calm, reliable, and committed to delivering excellent care.
You will also need to:
- Communicate effectively and adapt to different needs
- Work well as part of a team and independently
- Be flexible and able to work night shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
- Understand equality, diversity, and safeguarding principles
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work
Previous experience is helpful but not essential, as we provide full training. We will support your development with a structured induction, comprehensive training, and the opportunity to gain an accredited vocational qualification.
