Youth Justice Operational and Performance Manager

We are seeking an Operational and Performance Manager for our Youth Justice Service. You will have operational management responsibility for the Youth Justice Team, with a specific focus on achieving positive change and keeping children and communities safe, leading on prevention, diversion, and management of our work to prevent offending and re-offending by children. You will work alongside colleagues and multi-agency partners to develop and continuously improve the delivery of a high-quality effective service that delivers good outcomes for children, young people, their families, victims and the community.

About You

As a qualified and registered Social Worker or Justice professional, you will have substantial management experience and a proven track record of successfully leading and managing multi-agency teams, ideally in a Youth Justice or related field. You will also be able to demonstrate a breadth of knowledge and experience of working with children in a statutory setting and ideally have experience of working with ‘Signs of Safety’ or a similar strength and relationships based practice framework.
