We have an exciting opportunity available for a Reducing Parental Conflict Co-Ordinator, to join us as a key member of the Integrated Early Help Service here at Wokingham Borough Council, on a part-time, 12-month Fixed Term Contract.
As a Reducing Parental Conflict Co-ordinator, your role will be to raise awareness of the impact of parental conflict which is intense, frequent and poorly resolved and seek to support the children’s workforce with supporting families and intervening effectively, leading to better outcomes for children.
This is a hybrid position, working from our offices as well as attending other meetings as required.

Key Responsibilities: (As a guide 5-7 bullet points in this section)
- Act as a contact point for advice and guidance on parental conflict for internal and external partners
- Deliver briefings and training as required to colleagues including those within health, the police, education and the community and voluntary sector.
- Support practitioners with tools and approaches that will aid their practice in this area
- Share a range of resources and ideas, promoting the goals of the Reducing Parental Conflict Programme
Candidate Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, to be creative, resilient and adaptable to change
- Professional qualification in health, social care and/or education
- Training qualification and/or substantial experience of delivering training
- To demonstrate an ethos of partnership and collaboration
- Be able to travel across the borough as required
